About Brea
(pronounced BREE)
I have been photographing for 17 years (!!!) and I still cry at weddings!
I love that I have the rare pleasure of being present to witness some of the most significant moments in my clients' lives. Whether that be the birth of a child, the celebration of a wedding, a family growing year after year, or a small business sharing what they love - I am honored to have celebrated so many magical moments with my clients since 2007 and I greatly look forward to all I will see in the years to come.
My style is narrative, artful and real. I love the messy and the gritty, the tone of light at sunset and capturing candid images from surprising perspectives.
In my spare time, I love singing my son to sleep, being immersed in nature, reading and writing poetry, going on some spontaneous adventure, watching the seedlings pop up in my garden, and any time I can get in/on/around water.
I addition to my work as a photographer, I am also a part of the artistic collaborative Rituals for Clay Creatures, the co-founder of The Luminary, a cutting edge arts non-profit, and Counterpublic, a public arts triennial. My life is truly full of never-ending (and well documented) adventure.
I would love to meet you and document your story.
